In a country of $1400$ million population, $70\%$ own mobile phones. Among the mobile phone owners, only $294$ million access the Internet. Among these Internet users, only half buy goods from e-commerce portals. What is the percentage of these buyers in the country?

• C. $15.00$
• D. $50.00$

no need to evaluate 70% portion ,we have to find no, of buyers who buy good from ecommerce portals which is half of the internet users and the number of internet users given 294 million so number of buyers=147 million

percentage of buyers=(147million/1400 million)*100=>10.5%

In the equation do you mean this :

$\dfrac{147}{294}\times \dfrac{294}{980}\times \dfrac{980}{1400}\times 100=10.5\%$
